Moving right along.

Well, here we are nearing the end of the entire framing stage. This crew is going to try to finish everything (except a couple of little details inside) this week. Romero has a long weekend trip to take down to California with his family, then he and his crew start a house in Klamath Falls.
We have the solar company putting brackets on the garage roof as I write so the roofer can put flashing around it and the electrician, plumber and roofer will be out next week.
From the outside it's looking like a real house, the inside begins now. I'm afraid some of it will go a little slow but........................I'm ok with that.
Some of the pictures below were taken a couple of days ago and some just tonight, when the crew left.
We have been blessed with clear skies this whole week so Romero and his crew have been able to get a lot done in several days. He is aiming to get the sheathing on the roof of the house tomorrow so the actual roofer can come out and at least put the tar paper down to keep the rain out that we are supposed to be getting on Friday.
We can't wait for the day when everyone can enjoy this new home with us.
Thanks for sharing in our excitement, we love you all.

This one is taken from the NE corner of the front yard. Bedrooms on the third floor, with a bathroom window in between two of the bedrooms. the middle floor, dining room in the corner closest to you (to the right of the front door, the big blank wall on the middle floor is one wall in the great room (the entertainment center will go there with the fireplace in the corner by the meadow. To the left of the front door on the middle level is the office and the laundry/sewing room, next to the garage. the basement level on this side has the root cellar/storage room into the hill and the window is the shop.

This one is taken in the front yard from the SE corner. The window closest to you is the garage. We started painting some of the walls. We chose a cape cod gray and when we have all the walls done we will paint all the trim bright white and the front door a dark slate gray.

The two windows to the left are in the master bedroom, the one center-right is over the entryway that has a ceiling two stories high. The far right bump out window is one of the spare bedrooms upstairs. I think the whole house is coming together nicely and we are very pleased with how it is turning out.

This is taken straight on, from the neighbors driveway. It will be so beautiful when it is done and we can get some landscaping finished.

The paint looks a little blue in these pictures but it really has more of a brownish, greenish gray.

This is taken from the back deck but it has no railing yet so I was hugging the house when I took it. I was standing at the back door, the two windows are in the great room.

The guys are wrapping and finishing the siding, they will finish all the tops of the gables with lap siding when they get done.

Wrapping.

The front porch roof has so many angles and fits it took them all afternoon to build it. It turned out very nice.

This picture seems to show the gray a little bit closer to the true color. They will add lap siding to the part above the garage just like the top and front of the house. We're undecided how much trim will get white or what will get gray, we don't want too much of it to stand out with white.
