Day 5 of block laying

Hello again,

I really hope you don't get tired of these, oh well, I guess you don't have to visit the site as often as I post.
Anyway, then next to last day of block laying. The county building inspector was out today and approved the next layer so they will pour tomorrow and then Jesse will lay the very last of the block on the "back" side of the house which is the short wall side, facing the meadow.
Then we need to get the hole filled in with rock and the cement guys will pour the pad.
So.................here is where we are at as of 4 P.M. this afternoon.

The back and this side will get some drain rock, drain pipes and A LOT OF BACK FILL DIRT!
This will actually be the back of the house, the basement level that faces the meadow. The garage will be on the top of the hill and the front entrance of the house will be at the top of the hill as well......................right above the HUGE wall.

Den is standing in the front corner of what will eventually be back filled just to give some perspective on how tall that wall is.

Standing inside the basement, what will one day become the game room, when we can get it all finished.
This is from the place where the garage will be, looking at the basement from what is the front of the house.

Looks a little bit bigger than foundation under the trailer. I did a children's story on Sunday on the wise and foolish builders ... looks like Jesse is one of the wise ones. Enjoy the journey.

oh yeah ... the grass and plants look great.

Wow! I can't believe the difference a year makes! Think last year at this time, or even a few months for that matter...The park is looking good too.

Any more progress????
I've wanted to call since last weekend but something else always comes up. I'll try tonight or this weekend when you will both be home.
Love you!
